About Us

Helping with therapy costs for the LGBTQ+ community in Basingstoke

We are a charity that was founded by a group of friends in Basingstoke (Hampshire, England). We are a registered charity and regulated by the Charity Commission (charity no: 1207091).

What we do?

We're new and just getting started.

We originally started under the name "Inclusive Faith" and wanted to support equality, inclusion and diversity within faith settings. However, towards the end of 2023, we narrowed our charity's purpose as many other amazing groups and organisations are tackling those issues.

So now our focus is on supporting wellness within the LGBTQ+ community by providing funding for a limited course of private therapy (such as coaching/counselling).

Who we support?

Anyone within the LGBTQ+ community in Basingstoke (Hampshire, England) struggling with poor mental health and who are not currently (or shortly due to start) having counselling/coaching/therapy and who cannot afford to fund private sessions. If/when funds allow we'd love to support the LGBTQ+ community in other parts of the country.

How we provide support?

Subject to us having sufficient funds in place, we will seek to provide funding for up to 13 sessions of private therapy with an independent provider who we've vetted and approved.

Getting our support?

If you:

- live in Basingstoke (Hampshire, England); and

- are a member of the LGBTQ+ community; and

- are struggling with poor mental health; and

- cannot afford to fund your own private therapy sessions (typically at least £50/hour); and

- you are not currently/shortly due to start counselling/coaching/therapy via the NHS (or private medical insurance); and

- would like to apply for our support (as detailed above),

100% of the donations received go to funding therapy for those in need (our administration costs are not deducted from these sums).
